Tibet's 1st modern rock band performs to mark founding anniversary
Members of the Tianchu band perform to mark the 17th founding anniversary in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, May 1, 2016. Tianchu, the region's first modern rock band, consists of six young men of the Tibetan ethnic group. In 2003, they issued a Tibetan-language album with the band name.
