Tibetan costumes have distinctive characteristics, featuring loose waist, long sleeves, with the front robe buttoning on the right side. Tibetan woman usually wear long boots to match the dress, and they also love to braid their hair and wear accessories like gold, silver, and jades.

Due to the influence of Buddhism, some Tibetan costumes have the color of Kasaya or are decorated with religious symbols and Buddhism talismans.
