The deliciousness of salmon lies in its rich fat and delicate skin melting at the tip of the tongue. To maintaining the deliciousness of salmon, you must race against time, from the moment it leaves the water.

On November 5, the Longyangxia Reservoir in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, under the scorching sun on the plateau, shimmering waves emanate. Many beautiful salmon leap out of the cold lake water, and drawing silver arcs on the fishing nets.

“In order to preserve the deliciousness of salmon, it is necessary to seize the time and improve the transportation speed, from salmon leaving the water to every step of transportation,” Li Mingrui, the head of the Technical Operations Department of Longyang Zhixian (Qinghai) Co., Ltd., pointed to the automated fish suction pump and said as it brought the silver shimmering salmon to the processing table. And behind him, the workers are working nervously and orderly.

Li Mingrui casually grabbed a freshly processed salmon and placed his finger on the fish, said;“Please take a look at the flesh of salmon, which is firm and elastic. The salmon processing procedures such as separation, bloodletting, acid elimination, and refrigeration must be completed within 1 hour. According to traditional fishing methods , simply removing the fish from the fishing net needed a lot of time, and difficult to preserve its deliciousness. ”

Although the company has optimized its internal processes to the best of its ability, there remains a persistent issue; After leaving the company, transportation becomes the biggest uncertainty in preserving its deliciousness.

“We can control the quality of the fish that leaves the factory, but we cannot control the aircraft's storage space,”said Du Lianzhong, Deputy Director of Procurement at Longyang Zhixian, with a furrowed brow when talking about the past. Last summer, when the 8-ton fish had arrived at the transfer airport outside the province, it suddenly announced that the storage space was out of stock. “I was so anxious that the Indonesian customer kept questioning me on the phone. In the end, I had to store the fish in the cold storage, and the order was cancelled ”

When an agreement was reached between Xining Airport Air Logistics and Longyang Zhixian,“They said, let's send out fresh food from Qinghai together. ” Du Lianzhong recalled. “We have reached a consensus that good products combined with good transportation channels are exactly what we need the most.”

However, the sales process of Qinghai salmon is full of challenges. Zhang Lijun, the marketing business manager of Xining Airport Cargo Terminal, still has a vivid memory of her experience in connecting with the Bangkok route.

“It's difficult to contact the cold storage at Bangkok Airport, ”Zhang Lijun said with a smile. “The email we sent was like a stone sinking into the sea. I could only consult the customer service phone number of Don Mueang Airport through a tour guide in Thailand, and then through the customer service phone number, I consulted the phone number of the freight company, and only then did I get in touch with them.”

The sales path of salmon is a microcosm of Qinghai's integration into the national unified market and connection to the dual circulation pattern. Relying on regional advantages, Qinghai has built a three-dimensional logistics network and integrated the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway under construction into the Central Asia West Asia Economic Corridor。 Accelerate the construction of a fast connecting channel with the southwest region, link up with the Chengdu-Chongqing economic cluster, and open up a new western land sea channel to go south and out to sea.  21 provincial highways have made the pattern of "forming a network in the east and convenient in the west" a reality.

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that logistics is the "backbone" of the real economy. To connect production and consumption, domestic and foreign trade, it is necessary to effectively reduce the logistics costs of the entire society, enhance the core competitiveness of industries, and improve the operational efficiency of the economy.

Officials from the Development and Reform Commission of Qinghai Province stated; From fresh fish in Longyangxia to the western corridor that connects east and west, Qinghai is accelerating its transformation from a “transportation corridor”to an “economic corridor”and from an inland hinterland to an open frontier.

Sales from the plateau to various parts of the world. Salmon is the confidence and confidence that Qinghai has gained from the plateau to the world, and it is also a new height for the opening up of western China.
