Experiencing enchanting beauty in Nyingchi
According to Nyingchi Tourism Bureau, the 2016 Tibet Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in Gaila Village, Bayi District of Nyingchi City on Mar. 23, 2016, Xinhua reported.
Tourists from home and abroad can enjoy the fascinatingly beautiful landscape there.
This year, the peach blossom season in Nyingchi will start in the middle of March and continue up until the end of April.
The festival will be themed as "Meeting in Nyingchi, looking for the most beautiful spring in China". Apart from enjoying the local enchanting beauty, tourists can also take part in various activities, such as the “Peach Blossom Fairies” Competition, photo contest, hot spring experiences, self-driving travel, cycling race as well as flower fair.
Nyingchi, "throne of the sun" in Tibetan, has been hailed as "Switzerland in the East". As the home to over 70 percent of Tibet's virgin forests, it is an important eco-tourism center in Tibet.
