Xizang: Festive Lights Convey Heartfelt Blessings to Motherland

During the National Day holiday, the banks of the Lhasa River in Xizang were aglow with lights. This year marks the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Xizang Autonomous Region. Over the past decades, this river has witnessed a remarkable transformation on this snow-capped plateau—from traditional butter lamps to dazzling neon lights, and from yak transportation to high-speed railways. At this moment, countless lights shimmered in the river’s reflection, each one representing a heartfelt blessing dedicated to our motherland.
