Yu Qing was born in 2002. After graduating from university in June 2023, she started her career at the Xining Engineering Machinery Section of China Railway Qinghai-Xizang Group Co., Ltd.

Within less than two years, she has visited over 90% of the stations along the Qinghai-Xizang Railway and completed maintenance tasks for more than 400 sets of turnouts alongside her colleagues.
