On April 5, the first flight ceremony of the EH216-S Autonomous Aerial Vehicle was held in Nyingchi, Xizang. The intelligent passenger multicopter aircraft developed by EHANG successfully operated at an altitude of 3,000 meters for the first time.

At 11:00 a.m., once all preparations were complete, the staff signaled “take off.” The aircraft ascended steadily over Nyingchi, drawing the gaze of crowds who paused to witness this remarkable moment. After it landed, the curious onlookers were allowed to explore it up close. They gathered to observe its design, entered it to experience its features and take photos.

It has been reported that EHANG is currently implementing a series of low-altitude cultural and tourism projects in various locations across China, including Hefei in Anhui Province and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. The company has completed 65,000 safe flights in 19 countries worldwide.
