Garze sends tourism “gifts”

On January 11, the “Garze Winter and Spring Tourism Products Promotion Conference” was held in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

At the conference, the Garze Tourism Commission issued four major winter and spring tourism preferential policies and introduced four winter and spring premium tourism routes. The four preferential policies will be implemented between January 2 and April 20, 2019 (excluding national holidays).

The preferential policies include halving the prices of entry tickets, sightseeing vehicles, electric cars, and cableways at any 3A-level or above scenic spots in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture; 50 percent off all hotel prices as per the winter off-season prices; a 50 percent governmental subsidy on toll fees for tourist vehicles from Chengdu to Kangding; a 70 percent discount for tour groups who fly round-trip between Chengdu and Daocheng; and a 75 percent discount for tour groups flying round-trip between Chengdu and Kangding.
