Fourth employee's football tournament opens in Lhasa

The fourth employee's football tournament was opened in Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet, on Sept.1.

According to Wang Ning, deputy director of the Sports Bureau of Lhasa , the scheduling of this year's matches is different from the previous three years', changing the match time from workdays to every Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday.

"The newly built culture and sports center  is very modern and equipped with night lighting, so that this year's matches can be played at night, making the footballers more excited  and more engaged in the game," he said.

The tournament will last to Sept.23 and 14 teams will compete in a total of 25 matches.
