During last year's "November 11" online shopping festival, Tibetan online consumers spent more than 79 million yuan (12 million US dollars) in 12 hours on the shopping website Taobao. To meet Tibetans' air cargo transportation needs, the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Tibet Autonomous Region and Shunfeng Airlines have joined and meticulously confirmed the requirements to guarantee Lhasa Airport's first air cargo route and other related issues, clearly establishing the responsibility and jobs on both sides.

The official opening of the air route will greatly promote the economic development of Tibet, quickly laying the foundation for a well-off society.

In addition, the online shopping mall Jingdong has officially opened a distribution warehouse in Tibet, which is the first exclusively for the e-commerce industry in Tibet. After it is put into operation, most local online orders will be shipped here. At the same time, there is "next day delivery" for the first time for e-commerce transactions in Tibet, and large household appliances can also be delivered "same day" in Lhasa city.
