Derge Monastery

Derge Monastery is located to the west of Aba County's Derge Town. It is the largest monastery of the Sagya Sect of the county, and it is characterized by its unique ordinances and religious practices. The annual average temperature is 2.9 degrees centigrade, and the monstery is located 518 kilometers away from Chengdu, and 259 kilometers away from Barkam.

Jinchuan Yungdrung Temple

The original name of the Jinchuan Yungdrung Temple is "Guang Fa Temple", and it is located in the Anning Town in the southern part of Jinchuan County. In the past, this temple used to be one of the four major temples of the Qing Dynasty, as it was known as the religious center of Tibetan- inhabited areas in northwest Sichuan since Emperor Qianlong's rule. "Yungdrung" means the god of luck, and it was named after the Yungdrung Sect of Bon-religion.
