Currently, vehicle number in southwest China's Tibet has reached 574.3 thousand, with an average increase of 200 vehicles per day, while there're 538.7 thousand drivers, with about 150 people acquiring the driver's license daily.

Tsering Lhamo, a resident of Lhasa, capital city of Tibet, said that for her family of five, they purchased their first vehicle in 2010. In 2018, her husband, who involves in vehicle sales, purchased the family's second car for more convenience.

She said cars are now part of people's lives.

As for Lhasa, as of July 17, the vehicle population is 266.7 thousand, of which imported vehicles numbered at 19.5 thousand, while new energy vehicle number is 340.
