Study Tour of Hong Kong Teenagers in Qinghai: Honey on the Bank of the Yellow River
Recently, the Hong Kong Teenager Study Tour Group visited Qinghai.
In Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, they saw Apis cerana, a special type of bee (commonly known as the native bee.
It is called panda in the bee circle for its small population) here. They learned about its protection and made honey candles by themselves.
Zhen Hao, head of the apiary, said to these teenagers: “Apis cerana is protecting the earth. We should also protect them with gratitude. I hope that more people will know that there is such good honey on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.”
