The Natural Resources and Forestry Grassland Bureau of Jianzha County has made significant progress in organizing and implementing the county-level national key protected wildlife resources and habitat survey project.
According to the surveys, a total of 55 bird species were recorded in this county, belonging to 10 orders, 17 families, and 41 genera. The number of species has significantly increased compared to previous surveys. Among them, there are 5 species of first-class protected birds and 11 species of second-class protected birds in China. The stable habitat and activities of these rare birds not only enrich the biodiversity background database of the whole county, but also provide key basis for evaluating the health status of regional ecosystems.
