Special tourist train to Tibet begins operation this summer
This summer the railway department will open a special tourist train titled as “Tibet waits for you to travel”, leaving from Beijing and lasting fpr 13 days, Tianjinwe.com reported.
This train's first stop will be Nyingchi. Attractions along the way include snow mountain, valleys, forests, and peach flowers in Nyingchi; the quintessence of Tibetan Buddhism, the Potala Palace; Yamdrok Yutso Lake, also known as the “Tibetan Sleeping Beauty”; Tashilhunpo Monastery; the holy Namtso Lake, and others.
