Nyingchi's tourism income reaches 3 bln yuan in 2016
Nyingchi City has received 3.56 million tourists and 3.2 billion yuan(0.47 billion US dollars) tourism income in 2016.
Nyingchi has made tourism for poverty-reduction projects as a priority this year, which drives the comprehensive development of other industries and helps farmers and herders increase their incomes.
Nyingchi is the first in Tibet Autonomous Region to launch the informatization construction project of smart village tourism using a "3+" model of "tourism + Internet + villagers".
