Tibet makes effort to expand afforestation

In recent years, Tibet has implemented the “five-eradication” action plan, including “eradicating treeless towns, treeless villages, treeless yards, treeless households, and treeless areas” to great effect. Currently, 863 treeless villages with an altitude less than 4300 meters have had trees planted, and about 83.2 thousand households have had trees, which is 80% of the total goal.
