"I was born and raised in Lhasa and have lived in a courtyard on Barkhor Street. I saw myself in this play, and I have also experienced the changes reform and opening-up policy have brought about in the old town residents' lives," said Lhapa Drolma, a Lhasa resident, after watching the play Barkhor's Northern Courtyard on December 17, 2018.
