New flight from Jiangsu to Tibet added

Recently, Tibet Airlines has unveiled a new route, TV9888, connecting Jiangsu and Tibet. The flight starts from Nanjing, with a stopover in Mianyang in  SW China's Sichuan Province , before arriving at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport.

The flight is daily and round-trip. The new route will improve the communication between the people of Jiangsu and Tibet, make tourists’ travels to Tibet easier, and promote tourism in Tibet.

There have been more and more tourists to Tibet in recent years; there were more than 20 million tourists to Tibet in 2015. With flights carrying 3.63 million tourists to and from Tibet every year, the air traffic in Tibet is busier than ever.

In the future, Tibet Airlines will further increase its collaboration with inner China and South Asian airlines. Guided by the Autonomous Region’s directive of “Connections all over China, Connections all over South Asia,” Tibet will build its bridge in the sky with the rest of the world.
