"Ngari has the most exquisite night sky in the world", the night park opened in July of 2014, is celebrating its one year anniversary, and has already become one of the best places for tourists and astrophiles to explore the night sky.

The night park is separated into different districts, which include a constellation district, an observation district, a tourist service district, and they also have six refraction and reflection telescopes which tourists can use to admire the craters of the moon as well as the great red spot of Jupiter, and to observe the nebulas and constellations hidden deep within space. Additionally, there are also simple meals, beds to rest on, and popular science ads. In addition to observing the chromatically beautiful milky way and planets, tourists also have the opportunity to go hunting for shooting stars, as this is the most ideal place to look for shooting stars in the northern hemisphere.

Currently, Ngari night park is open all day, however it is recommended that tourists visit the park after 10 pm Beijing time. The head of tourism at Ngari night park stated, "Since the night park has opened, we have been getting around 100 to 200 tourists every day. Our night park not only provides astrophiles with a platform to view the stars and constellations, the opening of our night park has also proven to be beneficial to the science education of elementary students. All of the data we collect contributes to the work of astrology researchers."
