5.3-magnitude earthquake jolts Tibet: CENC

 

BEIJING, Jan. 14  -- A 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit Anduo county of Nagqu Prefecture in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at 4:34 a.m. on Thursday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 32.62 degrees north latitude and 91.67degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km, according to the CENC.
