Qinghai: first canoeing invitational tournament kicked off

It is learned that the first Qianzi Lake Canoeing Invitational Tournament kicked off in northwest China's Qinghai Province on April 14th, with over 40 athletes from four provinces in China competing in events such as the 200-meter speed race and the 8-km marathon race.

"This competition will be able to demonstrate the beautiful natural scenery, as well as the local culture and customs," said local officials.

When it comes to sports, canoeing is a sport most people could participate in, whether they're 7-year-olds or healthy 70-year-olds.

Canoeing is very good for training people's balance and coordination. Anyone who has had professional guidance could learn to navigate a kayak in a short time.

In recent years, Qinghai has taken advantage of its natural resources to hold various water sporting events. The annual Across Yellow River Race and the Yushu Drifting Race have both won a lot of attention.
