Kathmandu Forum for China Tibetan Culture to open in Nepal Photos

"Kathmandu Forum for China Tibetan Culture" will be held on December 19-20 inKathmandu, capital of Nepallaunched by China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC) and Nepal Anigo Association with an aim of introducing Tibetan culture to Nepaland the whole world as well as promoting the exchanges between China's Tibetand Nepal.
With a topic of boosting the friendly exchanges between Chinaand Nepaland promoting the preservation and development of Tibetan culture, the forum will invite representatives from different circles in Nepalfor the opening ceremony, speech-delivering, academic exchanges and Tibetphoto exhibition. Many Tibetologists and celebrities from Chinaand Nepalwill deliver speeches on the forum.
As a nationwide nonprofit public body granted as UN Consultative Status for Economic and Social Council, CAPDTC is founded on June 21, 2004 as a non-governmental organization consisting of volunteers both from home and abroad who love Tibetan culture and care for its preservation and development.
The Association has 192 council members and has elected Ngapoi Ngawang Jigme, CPPCC Vice Chairman as President and Liu Yandong, commissioner of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee as well as CPPCC Vice Chairman, Raidi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Ji Xianlin, a famous scholar as honorary presidents.
