Himalayan snow mountain lecture was a success
On Jun 3 Beijing Sports University Sports Economics and Industry Department invited the godfather of Chinese mountaineering, Mr. Nyima Tsering, to do a lecture at the sports industry workshop. The lecture, titled “Himalayan snow mountain culture”, was a great success.
Mr. Nyima Tsering firstly introduced to everyone the Himalayan mountain landscape and biodiversity from a geographical knowledge perspective. He used a series of data to accurately portray to the audience the changes the Himalayas has seen over the last few years. Afterwards, he explained the mysterious Himalayan snow mountain culture with sincerity and from his own perspective as a Tibetan.
He then drew on his years of experience to discuss the development of Himalayan mountaineering. Finally, he shared with everyone his understanding of the spirit of mountaineering as a veteran climber.
Everyone said that they gained a lot from the lecture through a deeper appreciation of the godfather of mountaineering’s personal charm and determination. They hope that there will be more opportunities to communicate with Mr. Nyima Tsering and that mountaineering will continue to develop.
