Third children's talent contest, creative art show opens in Lhasa
The third children's talent competition and creative arts exhibition took place at the People's Art Gallery in Tibet Autonomous Region, May 9, Xinhua reported.
More than 300 children from the region, carrying around a thousand pieces of artworks, participated in the competition and more than 400 pieces of artworks were selected for display at the exhibition.
The aim of the event was to allow the children, through unique artistic expression, to portray life, think about the future, as well as present gifts to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Tibet Autonomous Region. The exhibition will last for five days.
