Vajrabhairava is also known as the Fearful Thunderbolt or Yamantaka In Tibetan he is called Dorje Jigje.Underfoot he tramples upon heretic deities,animals and birds.His principal hands,holding a skullcup and a curved flaying knife,embrace his consort in front of him.His other hands are outstretched holding various symbolics implements,He has nine heads;his main head is that of a buffalo.He is enhaloed in flames. |
